Sharon Louise Lindblom, 70 was surrounded by her family when she peacefully left this world to be with God on Friday, October 8, 2010 at 5:01 PM.

Born to Ralph and Della (Zellmer) Haefner March 15, 1940; Attended SS Peter & Paul's Elementary, Loyola High School and Good Council Girls Academy.

Married to William "Bill" Lindblom on August 2, 1958. A devoted and loving Mother, she often said that a highlight in her life was the period in which she raised her six children. Sharon enjoyed traveling, which she and her husband did in their many trips across the United States.

Sharon was diagnosed with cancer on September 15, 2010.

Survivors include her husband bill of Mankato; daughter, Jan Smith of Hilton Head Island SC; sons: Mike (Geri) Lindblom of Mankato, Bob (Kris) Lindblom of Mankato, Tom (Marie) Lindblom of Claremont MN, John (Tracie) Lindblom of N. Mankato and Dave (Angela) Lindblom of Plymouth MN; 18 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren; father, Ralph Haefner of Mankato; sisters: Nancy (Bob) Bumsta of Lakeville MN and Kathy (Randy) Leonhardt of Lakeville MN; and brother, Terry (Polly) Haefner of Mankato.

Sharon was preceded in death by her mother on January 13, 2001.

In honoring Sharon's wishes, there will be no services other than an immediate family gathering at the gravesite.Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
