James M Kotz

James M. Kotz, age 78, of Mankato, formerly of North Mankato, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010.

Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Centenary United Methodist Church, Mankato with Rev. Pam Serdar officiating. Memorials may be given to the Humane Society (BENCHS) or Centenary United Methodist Church.

James was born February 28, 1932 to John and Esther (Jacobsen) Kotz in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School and Mankato State College. He was united in marriage to Patricia Weir on June 9, 1957 at Delavan Baptist Church, Delavan, MN. James was employed by George Carlstrom Construction for many years. He was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church.

James is survived by his wife, Patricia; two daughters, Debra (Steve) Irestone and Krista (Morten Soerensen) Kotz; grandchildren, Ryan, Ross, Anna, Kevin, and Nikolaj.

James was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth.
