David E Jones

David E. Jones, age 52, of North Mankato died Monday, June 9, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer.

A Memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Friday June 13, 2008 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 105 Hosanna Avenue, Mankato. Mankato Mortuary assisted with arrangements.

David was born October 4, 1955 in Webster City, IA. He graduated from Faribault High School in 1974. He retired from the Minnesota Security Hospital after 23 years of services as a security counselor. David enjoyed spending time with his loves ones, playing his guitar, and creating artwork.

David is survived by his mother, Fayma of Mankato; children, Andrew, Aaron, Molly, and Megan of Mankato; fianc"e, Rebecca Zacharias of Mankato; brother, Steve Jones of Milwaukee; sisters, Debra Jones and Jennifer Young of Mankato; and six nieces and nephews. David was preceded in death by his father, Richard Jones.
