Angeline M. Dethloff, age 90, formerly of Mankato, died Tuesday, February 17, 2004 at St. Josephs Home of Chicago in Illinois.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with one hour of visitation prior to services. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Mankato Mortuary.
Angeline was born June 21, 1913 in Mankato to Carl V. and Elizabeth M. (Hickel) Hoffman. She attended Mankato Catholic Schools and later married Frederick Dethloff in Mankato. Angeline worked at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital as a nurses aide and was a homemaker for her family. She enjoyed embroidery, gardening, yard work and took great pride in caring for the family home. In 2000, Angeline moved to the Chicago area to be near her daughter. She was a lifelong member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
Survivors include her son, Thomas J. Dethloff and his wife, Frankie of Oklahoma City, OK; daughter, Linda A. Dethloff and her husband, Robert F. Lee of Hometown, IL; several nieces and nephews, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eight brothers and sisters.
