Helen Mell

Helen L. Mell, age 61, of Garden City, died Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the First Baptist Church in Garden City with Rev. Harvey Hallada officiating. Burial will be in Garden City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday at Lake Crystal Mortuary and one hour before services at the church on Saturday.

Helen is survived by her husband, Donald Mell of Garden City; a daughter, LaDawn (Mell) and Todd Becker of Garden City; a son, DJ Donald Mell Jr. of Garden City; a granddaughter, Amanda Becker; three siblings, Doug Kump, Kenneth and wife, Mary Kump, Karen Zick, all of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant son, William John, sister, Gail, and brother, Mark.
