Lynn W Hansen

Lynn W. Hansen, age 66, of Kasota, died Tuesday, February 10, 2004 at Immanuel-St. Josephs Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Mankato Mortuary Chapel. Burial in Kasota Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Friday at Mankato Mortuary and one hour prior to services on Saturday.

Lynn was born May 11, 1937 in Mankato to Woodrow and Louise (Marquardt) Hansen. He was married to Cecile D. Putz on May 17, 1958 in Mankato. Lynn worked at the St. Peter Regional Treatment Center as a psychiatric technician for several years prior to his employment of over 25 years with St. Peter Well Drilling. For 25 years, he served as a volunteer on the Kasota Fire Department and was a member of the Redman Club of St. Peter. He enjoyed nature, woods, wildlife and spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting in Northern Minnesota.

Survivors include his wife, Cile Hansen of Kasota; two sons, Mike Hansen of Kasota, Keith Hansen and his wife, Janet of Mankato; eight grandchildren, Mandy, Erik, Kasey, Kim, Mark, Joey, Colleen and Kandace; father, Woody Hansen of Mankato; four brothers, Boyd Hansen and wife, Carol of Mankato, Larry Hansen of Seattle, WA, Pete Hansen and wife, Sharon of Shakopee, Greg Hansen and wife, Pat of Kasota; two sisters, Joanne Kenyon, Dee Johnson and husband, George all of Mankato; brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother and a daughter, Pamela Kay Hansen.
