Norma M. Red Enns, age 92, of Mankato, died Thursday, February 5, 2004 at the Mankato Lutheran Home.

Funeral services 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 9, 2004 at Our Saviors Lutheran Church in Mankato, with Rev. James Pragman officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at church on Monday. Interment will be in Mountain Lake Cemetery. Memorials are preferred to Our Saviors Lutheran Church or the Mankato Lutheran Home. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Norma was born August 22, 1911 in Morgan, Minnesota to Herman W. and Hulda L. (Otto) Voeltz. In early childhood, she moved with her parents to Verdi, Minnesota. She graduated from Verdi High School in 1929, and Immanuel Hospital Nursing School in 1932 with her RN degree. She was employed at Immanuel Hospital until 1939. Norma was united in marriage to Peter Enns on April 23, 1949 at St. Johns parsonage in Lake Benton, Minnesota. She retired from nursing in 1979 after employment at the Mankato Clinic for many years. Norma was an active member of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, where she belonged to the Evening Guild and assisted with the monthly production of the church newsletter, "The Voice."

She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and long-time friend, Bernice Bunny Wheeler and her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter on August 10, 1976, and also two sisters.
