Linda was the sixth child of Raymond and Cecilia (Miller) Reichel born on October 4,1936. As a teenager, she worked summers at the Hillcrest Drive-In, where she met the love of her life, Clem Bachmeyer. They were united in marriage on August 30, 1952, and were blessed with five daughters. Linda was a stay-at-home mom for many years, eventually taking jobs at Shari Candies, Hi-Way Liquor, and Mary’s Cleaning over the years, so she would have time to be with her girls when they were not in school. Eventually she worked at Cub Foods as a cashier, ending up in customer service for many years. What Linda loved most was being with her family and friends and traveling throughout the US with Clem. One of the things that Linda was very good at was showing her love and compassion to all of the people she loved in her lifetime.

Linda is survived by her daughters, Carla (Bruce) Carlson of Mankato, Sandy Bachmeyer of Holman, WI, Debbie Paulson of Andover, Vicki (Ron) Bultman of Faribault, and Teresa Bachmeyer of Austin; grandchildren: Michelle (Scott) Grimes-Gray, Jason (Kari) Sack, Joan Kruckeberg, Crystal Wiehr, Jenni (Mike) Walker, Melinda (Joe) Rollag, Amy (Tracy Storlie) Bachmeyer, Katy (Marshall) Hanson, David (Rena) Paulson, and Mike Paulson; 17 great-grandchildren; brother: Jerry Reichel, brother-in-law Don Klint; sister-in-law: Pat Reichel, many nieces and nephews who were all very special to her and special cousins: Marlene Thul and Pat Roesch.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, six sisters, and three brothers.

The family would like to send out a big thank you to the staff, nurses, and aides at Hillcrest for all of the wonderful care Mom was given while she was in your care- Rita, Deb, Rachael, Connor and everyone else that showed love to her on her journey- THANK YOU!
