Aisha Blankers

Aisha Blankers, age 60, of Nicollet passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 6, 2020 from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m., at the Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato, MN.

Aisha was born on May 27, 1959, as Juliet Ann Naz in Pontiac, MI to her parents, John Frederick Naz and Mary Jane Naz. She attended and graduated from Ohio State University, Columbus, Ohio. Aisha married Sietze Blankers on April 7, 2004 in Frankenmuth, MI. She loved to ski when she was younger. She loved to travel – especially to warm, tropical places. She enjoyed traveling to Europe as well, and particularly loved to see butterflies and nature during her travels. She was a great cat-lover with an outstanding sense of humor, and was unrelenting in her efforts to right a wrong.

Aisha is survived by her spouse, Sietze Blankers, Nicollet, MN; son, Nicolai Blankers, Nicollet, MN; siblings, Candace Cramer, Scituate, MA and Mary Ahlers, Cincinnati, OH; their 8 cats: Butterball, Transtrom, Patches, Splotches, Gilmore, Neko, Monty, and Faraday. She was preceded in death by her parents.
