Al knew and trusted in his Lord Jesus Christ.  He was confident of his own forgiveness and salvation by grace through faith in Jesus.

Alan “Al” Thomas Clennon was born July 19, 1971 in Mason City, Iowa, to Mark and Beverly (Gerber) Clennon and was baptized into the Christian faith at Saint Joseph Church, Mason City.  The family moved frequently due to his father’s business.  He moved to Springfield, MN in 1979.  He attended St. Raphael School for grades 3-8 where he was confirmed in the Christian faith.  He attended Springfield Public High School for grades 9-12 and graduated in 1989.  He attended Mankato State University and Brown Institute and graduated with a degree in Radio Broadcasting.

Al had a successful sales career in radio broadcasting, working for ownership groups in Redwood Falls, New Ulm, Mankato, and Minneapolis, MN.  He then worked as a salesman at Heinz Toyota.  At the time of his death, Al served as a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor for Freedom Financial of Springfield and Marshall, MN.

Al placed his highest value on his Christian faith, family, and friends.  Al was loyal, humble, and kind.  Al did not consider “sheltering in place” to be a great hardship.  He loved being with his children and wife while watching streamed worship services in his pajamas with all his beloved under his roof.  His last day on earth Al spent his best version of a Saturday with all of his children, kissed his wife and hugged her more than she can count, and went to sleep with everyone safe and healthy under his roof.  On Sunday morning he was in Heaven with his Savior.

Al is survived by his wife Karina (Harstad) Clennon.
