Alisa Zella (Peterson) Nase, age 41, of Lake Crystal, MN passed away on Thursday, May 7^th, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato after a courageous battle with cancer. Funeral arrangements pending.

Alisa was born on June 24^th, 1978 in Albert Lea to Irving and Zella (Vivant) Peterson. She lived in Frost from birth to age 8 on the Peterson family farm.  The family then moved to Comfrey until she was age 15 and moved again to Blooming Prairie where she graduated in 1996. Alisa attended the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences Radiography program and earned an Associate of Science degree. Her early career involved being a traveling CT Tech at New Hampshire, Maine, Colorado, Hawaii, Minnesota, South Carolina, and California. She married Matthew Nase on June 26^th, 2004 in Blooming Prairie. They moved to Lake Crystal where they had their three beautiful children Olivia, Nolan, and Evan.  She worked the last 16 years in Mankato with her most recent role being a supervisor in the radiology department.  Her husband and children were the light of her life and she enjoyed watching the kids play sports as she was their #1 fan. She was a very caring and encouraging mother.  It was her most rewarding job. She also enjoyed spending time with family, sharing her love for the Lord, reading Christian books, having movie nights, and taking many family vacations.  She was one of a kind and well known for her vibrant personality, genuine kindness to all, contagious laughter, generous and compassionate spirit, and her ability to light up a room.

She is survived by her husband Matt, and children Olivia, Nolan, and Evan of Lake Crystal; her father Irving Peterson of Comfrey, and siblings Andrea (Troy) Toll of Comfrey, Joshua Peterson of Waseca, Jana (Jared) Anderson of Willmar, and Megan (Gabe) Hirsch of Comfrey; parents in law Rick & Carol Nase of Amboy, brother in law Jeremy (Heather) Nase of Garden City, sisters in law Stephanie (Sean) Henderson of  Chaska, and Brittany Nase of Chicago, IL; grandparents in law Walter (Bud) and Dorothy Nase of Mankato; nephews Jordan & Ashton Toll, and Eli, Miles, and Collin Hirsch; nieces Lexi & Elliana Toll, and Valerie Henderson; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother Zella; grandparents Godwin & Mabel Peterson, and Fred & Iwylla Vivant; uncles Gordon Peterson, Lloyd Vivant, and Ron Weiss; aunt Vivian Jelle; cousins Elizabeth Weiss and Andrew Weiss; grandparents in law Leonard & Violet Velta.
