Allan David Hutchens of Lake Crystal earned his Angel wings after a five year battle with cancer on September 24, 2020.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary from 4-7 p.m. Private family burial will be held at Lake Crystal Cemetery.

Allan was born February 20, 1946 to Cuther and Bernice (Jones) Hutchens in Mankato, Minnesota. He graduated from Lake Crystal High School and from Mankato Vo-Tech. He was married to Marsha Scott and later divorced. Allan was united in marriage to Mary (Lee) Miska on February 7, 1987 at Zion Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal.

Allan was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church in Lake Crystal and was a friend of Bill W. He worked at Kato Engineering for over 40 years before retiring. He enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, reading, golfing, sudoku and was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; children, Matthew Hutchens, Michael (Michelle) Miska, Candus (Eric Blasing) Lunderberg, Dawn (Jason) Nelson, Sarah (Bob Hartman) Hutchens, Mark (Melissa) Miska; Siblings, Virginia (Paul) Greek, Joan Frank, Darrell (Cathy) Hutchens, John (Becky) Hutchens, Brad (Betsy) Hutchens, Barb (Robert) McDonald, Nancy Hillesheim, Todd (Terri) Hutchens; 19 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Preceded in death by his parents, grandson Toby, three brothers and three brothers-in-law.
