Anita loved to decorate for the holidays. Her house was a wonderland at Christmas. She also was the “hostess with the mostest” – no one ever went hungry while celebrating at Phil & Anita’s. She collected cookbooks and always tried new delicious recipes. She enjoyed making crafts and going to craft fairs. Anita had many bird feeders for her feathered friends and especially enjoyed when cardinals would come to visit.

Anita spent countless hours volunteering at Marysburg church. Anything that needed being done – Anita was there – setting up for Masses, counting money, changing out candles, linens, and decorations for the seasons, gift bearer, meal planning and preparing for events, bake sales, CCW treasurer for 25+ years. Anita was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.

Anita’s many nieces and nephews were her pride and joy – making special dishes when they came to visit. Her godchildren had a special place in her heart. She enjoyed going to their school events and making life’s milestones memorable.

Anita & Phil greatly enjoyed the annual fall car cruises with 11 couples of the Nimrodders Club.

Anita worked many manufacturing jobs including: Mid-Tex, Amco Machine & Tool, North American Gear, Maud Borup Inc, Chippewa Packaging. She retired in 2019.

Anita is survived by her husband of 24 years, Phil; one brother; five sisters; father-in-law; Phil’s three brothers and two sisters; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers; mother-in-law; and Phil’s two brothers.
