Ann Marie Borchardt

Ann Marie Borchardt, age 78, of North Mankato passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will be in Minneopa Cemetery, Mankato. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Ann was born September 29, 1945, in Mankato, MN. She earned her Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees from Minnesota State University. She taught at St. Clair, Grace Christian School, and was the Administrator of Maranatha Christian School. She loved Bible study, rosemaling, gardening, camping with her family, and her pets.

Ann is survived by her husband of 47 years, Edward; children, Daniel (Kris) Murphy, Sean (Shannon) Murphy, Katie (Tom) Augedahl, and Elizabeth (Hickory) Foudrey; grandchildren, Kassandra Augedahl, and Alex (Megan) Augedahl, Kieran, Keaton, and Ryland Murphy, Seamus and McKayla Murphy; step-grandchildren, Soren and Amalie Foudrey, and great-grandchild, Palmer Augedahl; siblings, Carl (Dianne) Hallman, and David (Matt) Hallman, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Ann was preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Dorothy Hallman.
