Ann Karen (Brostrom) Bramer, age 75, died Monday, November 30, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System – St. Marys Campus in Rochester.

Ann was born December 24, 1944 in Mankato to Vern and Louise (Gilbert) Brostrom. She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in Mankato and graduated from Mankato High School in 1962. She worked as an architectural secretary for Nordaas American Homes in Minnesota Lake, where she met Allan Bramer. Ann and Allan were married on September 14, 1963 and were blessed with three children. Ann later worked at Beauford County Store, owned and operated Old Mill Bar and Grill in Minnesota Lake, Hometown Grocery in Minnesota Lake, and was a paraprofessional in Minnesota Lake and Good Thunder for eight years before retiring. In her free time, Ann enjoyed camping, playing cards and dominoes, knitting, bowling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Ann is survived by her three children, Kellie Jo Bramer of Colorado Springs, CO, Troy Allan (Amy) Bramer of Amboy, and Debra Lynn (Jason) Gartner of Mapleton; nine grandchildren, Aaron Stender, Tyson (Stephanie) and Joshua (Robyn) Bramer, MeganAnn Anderson, Jordan (Kesha) Tillia, Katelyn and Colin Bramer, Dylan and Jaden Gartner; twelve great-grandchildren; special friend, Denny Phillip; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death were her parents, Vern and Louise Brostrom; husband, Allan Bramer; sister, Janet Christnagel; brother-in-law, Ed Christnagel; and niece, Julie Christnagel.

A visitation will be held from 10am-12pm, Saturday, December 5, 2020 at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive. Graveside service will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 103 Monks Avenue, Mankato. Please share a memory of Ann with her family online at www.mankatomortuary.com.
