Arlene E. Pasek, age 95, of Mankato, died on March 18, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Brooklyn Park, MN.
A private family service will be held with burial in Calvary Cemetery. A public service will be held at a later date. Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to your local hospice.
Arlene was born on February 22, 1925 in Webster, MN to Leonard and Susan (Zweber) Friedges. She graduated from Northfield High School. On November 13, 1947, Arlene was united in marriage to Charles Pasek in New Market, MN. She worked at the Blue Earth County Courthouse for many years in the driver’s license department. Arlene and Charles were longtime members of the National Rose Society. Arlene loved ballroom and kitchen dancing to the big bands. She enjoyed cooking and baking, she made the best pies. Most of all, Arlene loved spending time with her family.
Arlene is survived by three daughters, Mary Sue (Bruce) Haywood, Maureen (Tom) Kruse, and Myra Pasek (Christopher Epsha); daughter-in-law, Jeanette Pasek; grandchildren, Melissa (Joseph) Lonsky, Kristina (Trevor) Ward, Laura (Anthony) Turner, Susanne, Faye, and Monica Haywood, Benjamin Kruse, Alexander (Elizabeth) Kruse, and Claudia Epsha; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; twin brothers; husband, Charles; infant daughter; and son, Michael.
