Audrey H. Dobie Cooper

Audrey H. Dobie Cooper, age 96 of Mankato, passed away on Monday June 3, 2024 at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

 Funeral service is 11:00am Tuesday June 11, 2024 at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato with visitation beginning at 9:00am. To leave a condolence for the family, visit www.mankatomortuary.com.

 Audrey was born August 18, 1927 in Sterling Township, Blue Earth County to Herman Henry Gustav and Emma Sophie (Bruhns) Voges. She attended Minnesota Lake High School, graduating in 1945. She was united in marriage to H. Howard Dobie on August 23, 1953. After his passing in 1984, she married Robert Cooper on November 30, 1991. Audrey was employed in administration at Kranz Implement in Amboy, and later worked for the Salvation Army in Mankato. She was an avid reader, enjoyed sewing, gardening and playing cards.

 Left to remember Audrey are her children: Ken (Wendy) Dobie, Ranae Olson, Doreen (Art) Tenneson, and Cheryl (Dale) Ziegler; 9 grandchildren: Jamie (Blake) Radtke, Kate Dobie, Shannon (Bret) Magers, Angela (Sam) Ziegler, Heidi Bidne, Mikayla (Brywn) Ractliffe, Alison (Tyler) Dobson, Jacob (Michaela) Ziegler, and Christopher (Tiffany) Hagen; 11 great grandchildren: Charlotte, Kalen, Brennen, Noah, Alec, Maddy, Connor, Avigail, Grace, Kaiser,  and Charlotte; 1 great-great grandchild Eloa, and other relatives and friends.

 She was preceded in death by: both husbands, her parents and in-laws, daughter-in-law Jan, 3 brothers and 3 sisters, and many siblings-in-law.
