Audrey Joann (Rausch) Frederick of Madison Lake passed away at her home on March 6, 2025. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Madison Lake. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00pm, Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at Mankato Mortuary with a 7:00pm Rosary. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Audrey was born July 24, 1933 in Mankato to Matthew and Edna (Oehler) Rausch. She attended Ss. Peter and Paul School and graduated from Loyola High School in 1951. She then attended Mankato Commercial College. She married George R. Frederick on April 14, 1955 at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Mankato. Audrey was a dedicated wife and mother, raising four children and later working in home health care. She was a woman of great faith and active in her parish. She and George spent many happy years in their home on Lake Ballantyne - cooking, fishing, gardening, and entertaining. She welcomed everyone into her home, and anyone who met her loved her. Audrey cherished spending time with her daughter, son-in-law, and their four daughters who lived next door, hosting family events especially Friday night happy hours with her sons, traveling to visit family in California, playing cards, and enjoying her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Audrey is survived by her children, Doug (Connie) Frederick of Roseville, CA, Peg (Bill) Tacheny of Madison Lake, Steven P. Frederick of Mankato, Darrell J. Frederick of Madison Lake; grandchildren, Chris (Katie) Frederick, Nicole (William) Miller, Liza (Benjamin) Murphy, Mari (Collin) Seifert, and Laura (Brian) Sturm, Derek (fiancé Lauren Egstad) McDaniels, Shannan (Sean) Wolfe; twenty-four great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Wayne (Cathie) Frederick; sisters-in-law, Jean Domas, Yvonne Rausch, Betty Rausch, LeeAnn Frederick; nieces and nephews; good friend, Charlie Shamp; and many other family members and friends.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; sister, Carol Rausch; brothers, Don Rausch and Ted Rausch; brothers-in-law, John Frederick and Kevin Frederick; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Rausch, Judy Frederick and Laurie Frederick.
