Beverly Matilda Boyer

Beverly Matilda Boyer, loving life partner and mother, 80 of Aitkin, Minnesota, passed away July 13, 2019 at Oaklawn Rehabilitation Center in Mankato.

Memorial service will be held 2p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, in North Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Pequot Lakes Cemetery at a later date.

Bev was born February 16, 1939 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Gilbert and Edna (Hollingsworth) Tornell. She was raised in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota with her brother DeWayne Tornell.

On April 1, 1986, Bev moved to Aitkin with her life partner, Steve Collins and her son, Kevin. Her cats brought great joy in her life, as did her many arts and crafts. Bev was well known for her beautiful quilts and afghans. Bev served as the secretary and treasurer for the Double M Saddle Club.

Bev is survived by her life partner, Steve Collins; beloved son, Kevin (Margaret) Noren; daughter, Karen (Jason) Schuur; and grandchildren, Tiffani, Brittani, Miranda, Draven, Nevada, and Sierria. Bev was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, DeWayne.
