Beverly Grace Cox

Beverly Grace Cox, age 83, of Mankato passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023. Memorial service will be at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, January 19, 2023, at Hilltop United Methodist Church, with visitation one hour prior at the church as well. Burial will be at a later date. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Beverly was born April 26, 1939, to Beaver and Grace Northamer in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High School and later Mankato Teachers College, and Mankato State University. Beverly was united in marriage to Duane Cox on May 24, 1969, at Centenary United Methodist Church, Mankato. She was a teacher, and then stayed home to be with her children. She was a member of Hilltop United Methodist Church, and part of Card Club, Rose Society, Mankato Garden Club, Therapy Dogs, Boy Scouts of America, Weavers, and was a Sunday School teacher. Beverly enjoyed going up north for family vacations, doing crafts, playing cribbage, and most of spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Beverly is survived by her children, Paul (Cindy) Cox of Rochester, and Susan Larson (Red Holcomb) of Mankato; three precious grandchildren, Jack, Olivia, and Ella, as well as her dog grandchildren.

Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Duane; parents, Beaver and Grace Northamer, and 5 siblings, Keith, Bill, Archie, Shirley, and David.
