Carmen June Dalluge On November 6, 2022, Carmen June (Pasbrig) Dalluge, age 77, of Good Thunder, MN was received in heaven. Carmen was born April 27, 1945 at Immanuel Hospital in Mankato, MN to Merlin and Maywin Ilo (Kantack) Pasbrig She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Good Thunder, MN. Baptized May 20, 1945.
During her membership to the church she was a Sunday school and bible school teacher. She helped with "Bread Days" for the food shelf, helped pack care packages for Thanksgiving and Christmas. In the later years, she also would video tape the Sunday services. Carmen was confirmed April 26, 1959 at Redeemer Lutheran Church of New Ulm, MN. She graduated from New Ulm High School in 1963.
April 16, 1966, Carmen married Gene Gilbert Dalluge at St. John's Lutheran Church of Good Thunder, MN. There is where they created a home and raised their two girls, Lisa and Sherry.
Throughout her life, Carmen had many job careers. Telephone operator, sewing draperies for McDonald's interior designs and Designing Den. She was a Bank Teller, School Bus driver for local route and school activities. She was a worker's aid in the Special Needs and Title One room and a part time para for the Good Thunder School. She worked as a salesperson at Bruscke Hardware, secretary/bookkeeper for Star Trailers, accounts payable for Hinicker Co. and a Visual Assistant at Herbergers. She had most recently enjoyed her Mary Kay sales.
Carmen loved being with her family, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Vacationing and fishing up North with Gene and the grandchildren, tending flowers in her garden, watching the birds (especially the humming birds). She loved to visit, play cards and have lunch with her friends. Her most loved past time was watching the Minnesota Vikings. She was a true, purple fan.
She is survived by her husband, Gene and Bella (family beloved cat); daughters, Lisa Dalluge and Sherry (Paul) Goplen; Grandchildren Mike (Katie) Goplen and Melissa (Kaleb) Swagger; Great Grandchildren Cooper Goplen and Jaxon & Jameson Swagger; Brothers, Don (Donna) Pasbrig of Salina, KS. Myron Pasbrig of Garden City, MN. Nephews Chad (Heather) Pasbrig and children Alison & Dylan of Mankato, MN and Jeremy (Chelsey) Pasbrig and children Hayden & William of Pierre, SD. Uncle Howard (Sandy) Kantack of Bemidji, MN. Many cousins, nieces.
She is proceeded in death by her mother, Maywin Ilo Kantack; father, Merlin Arthur Pasbrig; Step-mother, Eva Pasbrig; Motherin-law/Father-in-law, Oscar & Louise Dalluge; Grandparents, Ben & Vera Kantack and Rose & Edwin Pasbrig; Aunt/Uncles, Curtis & Arlis Wallace and Edgar Kantack. A Celebration of Life service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 12, 2022 at St. John Lutheran Church in Good Thunder. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Saturday at the church. Burial at Barnard Valleyview will be held at a later date. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
Memorials maybe given to the donor's choice.
