Carolyn Adrianse

Carolyn Adrianse, age 60, of Mankato, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Memorial visitation will be 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, April 23, 2021 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Private service will be held for the family and will be available for livestream at 3 p.m. on Friday at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Carolyn, the daughter of John and Mary (Betts) Adrianse, was born on June 23, 1960 in Des Moines, IA. She graduated from Des Moines Roosevelt High School in 1978 and earned her Early Childcare degree from South Central College in North Mankato. She married Ray Pritchett and together they had one daughter, Samantha Barrett, they later divorced and remained lifelong friends. Carolyn started and was the proud owner Care Corner Day Care in Mankato. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, who she loved very much.  Her favorite thing to do with them was drive around to look at the leaves in the fall.  Carolyn’s boyfriend Moose has been a very important part of her life for many years and she felt very lucky to have found him.  

She is survived by her daughter, Samantha (Roger) Barrett and their children, Cambell, Cooper and Isla; siblings, Rick (Lori) Adrianse and Jim (Nancy) Adrianse; and significant other, Duane “Moose” Stamereilers. As well as her loving nieces and nephews; John (Jenny) Adrianse, Christy (Aaron) Ites, Brian (Ashley) Adrianse, Megan (Chris) Benson, Matt (Elizabeth) Adrianse, Marti Benson and Mary Adrianse. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Adrianse; ex-husband, Ray Pritchett; and sister, Sue Benson.
