Chanler, the third blonde-haired, blued eyed boy, was born on October 2, 2018 to Jerica and Tyler Denn in Mankato. He may have been the youngest and smallest in the family, but he loved keeping up with his older brothers, Evan and Parker. If he wasn’t outside going for walks in his little blue car or playing with gadgets in Mom and Dad’s pickup, he could be found reading books, pointing to things he wanted, pushing over a chair to climb on the counter, or snuggling on Mommy’s lap. He was smart for his age and was learning new words every day, the latest being, “daddy’s home.”

Chanler will be forever missed by his parents, Tyler and Jerica Denn of Good Thunder; his big brothers, Evan and Parker; grandparents, Bruce and Lorry Denn, and Jeff Treanor; bonus grandparents, Aimee and Rick Blomme; great-grandparents, Loretta Ward, David Treanor, and Dell and Glenda Wiertzema; great-grandma, Rosebud; aunts and uncles, Natalie (Dean) Janzen, Tayler Treanor, Jordan Treanor, Cole (Mackenzie) Beech, Paige Beech, Tony (Allison) Sauer, and Haley Duin.

The family members playing with him in Heaven include his grandma, Cathy Treanor; his great and great-great grandparents; and several great-aunts and great-uncles.

Instead of flowers or plants, all memorial contributions are preferred to the family, which will be applied toward a headstone and permanent sandbox at the cemetery so his older brothers can continue playing with him. A memorial account has been set up at Pioneer Bank under the Jerica Denn Memorial Fund. They may also be mailed to Mankato Mortuary, c/o Chanler Denn family, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato, MN 56001.
