Charmain Lueck

Charmain Anne (Miller) Lueck, 83, was an optimist, or tried to be, who lived a plenty long and full life and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 19, 2020 after succumbing to age related illnesses.

Public visitation will be from 5-7p.m., Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Northview~North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr., North Mankato. A private funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in North Mankato. Burial will be at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery in Mankato. The family prefers memorials be given to donor’s choice. Northview~North Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family.

In her teens someone once told her she would never have a dull moment! Quite true.

Charmain’s favorite things in life were family, friends, music, laughter, humor and the pursuit of happiness.

She was born on April 4, 1937 to Arthur and Emma Miller (Boetcher); she married Leroy Lueck on March 22, 1958.

Starting before the age of 16, Charmain worked various places including US Bank, retiring in 1988 and Mankato Clinic, retiring around 2002.

Charmain is survived by husband, Leroy; children; Cathy (Steve) Laird, Steve Lueck (special friend, Sherri Burnham), and Karen Stevens; 8 grandchildren, Matt (Jess) Laird, Michelle Stevens (Dusty Sargent), Lindsey (Kylan) Poulson, Teresa (Dan) Morales, Kelly (Stuart) Strusz, Samantha (Travis) Wendland, Breah Lueck, and Afton Lueck; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Joyce Burkel; special niece, Barb (John) Westman; special nephew, Jim (Pat) Lueck; sister and brother-in-laws, Helen (Chet) Hrdlicka, Alaine Hoffman (Bob Wolfe), Richard (Audrey) Lueck, David Lueck, Jerry (Ann) Lueck and all of their familes; and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; daughter-in-law, Cindy Lueck; parents-in-law, Leslie and Marie Lueck; sisters, Marilyn Welch and Shirley Shearer; 1 grandchild, Andrew Laird; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Welch, Walt Shearer, Roger Burkel, and Luverne Lueck; sister-in-law, Norma Lueck; and lots of other relatives and friends.
