Claire John Bulawski

Claire John Bulawski, 69, of Mankato, died Monday, November 4, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Visitation will be held from 4-7pm, Friday, November 8, 2019 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary. Memorial Mass will be 11am, Saturday, November 9, 2019 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior.

Claire was born July 12, 1950 in Tyler, MN to Stanley and Regina (Kusnierek) Bulawski. He graduated from Ivanhoe High School in 1968 and attended South Central College in Mankato for Auto Body. On October 28, 1978, Claire was united in marriage to Deborah Swearingen at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Together, they raised two sons, Stephan and Lucas.  Claire had a long and successful career in Auto Body repair, starting and managing shops for Ziebart, managing Chuck's Body Shop in Eagle Lake, and retiring from Jerry’s Auto Body in Mankato.

Claire is survived by his wife of 41 years, Deb Bulawski; children, Stephan (Carla Bode) Bulawski and Lucas (Melissa Massa) Bulawski; grandson, Chayton Mulder; mother-in-law, LaVonne Swearingen; and niece, Lisa Knoff.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Elaine.
