Darlene Carol Bauman

Darlene Carol Bauman, age 78, from Chetek, Wisconsin died Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Darlene was born December 11, 1941 to Henry and Mildred (Suddendorf) Bauman. She graduated from Waldorf High School in 1959. Darlene was employed by Mishek Supply Company (10 years), Institutional Sales, Inc. (20 years), and Sugar ‘N Spice (16 years).

She enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing cards, dice, horseback riding, country music, and TV westerns.

Darlene moved from Minnesota to Chetek, WI where she married Standly Erickson of Eau Claire on September 12, 1992.

She is survived by her nephews, Bruce (Mary) of North Mankato, MN, Darcey (Colleen) of Mankato, MN, and Bryon of Mankato, MN and their families; brothers-in-law, Robert (Marjorie) Erickson of Eau Claire, WI, David (Fabiola) Erickson of Deming, NM; sisters-in-law, Janet Andrews of Eau Claire, WI and Ramona Erickson of Appleton, WI; special friends, Marion Degmon and Jan Sobus; and her co-workers at Sugar ‘N Spice.

Preceded in death by husband Stan; parents; brother, Donald; and sister, Lois Yess.

A private family gathering will be held in Wisconsin at a later date.

She died of a broken heart… she’s back with the love of her life, Stan.
