Debi Jean Straube

Debi (Anton) Straube 67, passed away unexpectedly on January 31, 2024, at Mayo Clinic Health Systems surrounded by her family.

Memorial service will held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 10, 2024, at Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Saturday.

Debi was born February 16, 1956, to Joseph and Rita (LeBrun) Anton in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato West in 1974. On July 23, 1983, she married Rick Straube, they were married for 37 years and together raised two sons, Marc and Alex.

Debi worked most of her life in health care, most recently for WW Homes. Caring for people was her passion. She also worked a many years for Navitor. She was a huge Twins fan.

Debi is survived by her two sons, Marc and Alex Straube; sisters Denise (Steve) Thompson, Mary (Terry) Ammerman; brother, Mike (Debby Ideker) Anton; sister-in-law, Karney (Tom Elmore) Bushinger; nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her parents and her husband.

Debi’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff in the ICU at Mayo for their compassion and dedication to caring for her.
