Delores M. Rekedal

Delores Marian Lehne was born on January 11, 1933, to William and Lydia (Jesse) Lehne in Springfield, Brown County, MN. She was united in marriage to Harold Rekedal on January 20, 1952, in Redwood County. Private family services will be held with a burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice. 

Delores was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Club. She loved flowers, spending time with family and friends, and bird watching. Delores also loved relaxing with a good cup of coffee and playing cards. Delores was a very social person throughout her life. She enjoyed waitressing at Club 59, bartending at the Vesta Municipal, bookkeeping at Lucan and Vesta Elevators, and cashiering at Jackpot Junction. Her greatest joy was the people she served and worked with. The other joy was her children and grandchildren.

Delores is survived by her 5 children: Gail (Bob) Chamberlain of Colorado Springs, CO, Wendy Rekedal of Eagle Lake, MN, Patsy (Rick) Seys of Mankato, MN, Michael (Ewa), Rekedal of Kelso, WA, and Jay Rekedal of Coon Rapids, MN; 10 grandchildren: Jeffrey (Jen) and Cody (Beth) Chamberlain, Quinn (Becca) and Ryan (Taryn) Seys, Kyle and Danielle Rekedal, and Joshua, Jared, John, and Jakob Rekedal; 2 great-grandchildren: Delaney and Devin Chamberlain. Delores was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Rekedal; and brother, Richard Lehne.
