Diane Marie Collis

Diane Marie Collis, age 65, of Mankato passed away at home with her sisters by her side on November 3, 2023, after a short battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-4 p.m., on Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the Mankato Mortuary.

Diane was born on October 23, 1958, to Mac and Joyce Sandstrom in Mankato, MN. Diane graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1977. She worked several different jobs throughout her life, and recently retired from USDA after 26 years of service.

Diane enjoyed spending time at the lake water skiing and was a huge Twins fan. She was an avid gardener who enjoyed taking care of her plants, and spending time in her backyard with all the wildlife.

Diane is survived by her sisters, JoAnn Bode, and Lynda (Doug) Menne; niece, Jessica (Jason) McGinley; nephew, Charles “Chuck” Menne, as well as great nieces, great nephews, and many close friends.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents, and brother-in-law, Tom Bode.
