Donna Rae Webb

Donna Rae Webb age 79 of Mankato, Minnesota died peacefully on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 20, 2021 at United Church of Mapleton. Visitation will be held one hour before the service on Saturday at the church.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Blue Earth County Historical Society.

Donna Rae Webb was born April 1, 1941 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Robert and Leora (Pooley) Dahms. She was raised on a farm at Carthage, South Dakota and she graduated from San Fernando High School, California in 1959. She was united in marriage to Gerald Lee Webb on August 9, 1962 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Donna continued her education at Mankato State College and completed her Master’s Degree at Minnesota State University, Mankato. She worked at Mankato State University in Information Technology for 28 years. She volunteered at Blue Earth County Historical Society for 15 years after retirement. Donna belonged to United Church of Mapleton, Daughters of the American Revolution, MSU Alumni Association and Phi Kappa Phi.

Donna enjoyed genealogy, photography, camping, traveling, and reading.

Donna is survived by her husband Jerry of Mankato; three children, Kim (Monte) Martin of Ely, MN, Melody (Anna Ness) Webb of Fergus Falls, MN, Brad (Marjorie) Webb of Wilson, WI; six grandchildren, Sara Krassin, Nathan Krassin, Grace Brandt, Faeth, Hope, and Joy Webb; and nieces and nephews.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Dixie and Dianne.
