Dorothy Elnora Urban

Dorothy Asmussen Urban, 93 of Mankato, died Saturday, April 27, 2019 at Ridgeview Medical Center in Le Sueur.

Dorothy was born on March 26, 1926 to Christian and Esther (Olthoff) Asmussen in Lakota, Iowa. She married Merten Urban in 1946 and they farmed near Amboy, Minnesota, later moving to Mankato.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Doris; and husband.

She is survived by her children, Margaret (Ron) Raver of Wichita, Kansas, David of Hastings, Christine (Scott) Frisby of Duluth, and John of Ratcliff, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial and memorial service will be held at a later date. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
