Edward "Ed" Sargent

Edward Philip “Ed” Sargent, 66, Mankato, died on Friday, September 16, 2022 at his home.

Memorial Service will be 12 p.m. on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at the Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato with visitation from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the funeral home.

Edward Philip, the son of Delbert and Rita (Rickl) Sargent, was born on June 18, 1956 in Waukegan, IL. He graduated from Random Lake High School in Wisconsin. Ed was united in marriage to Willie Green on August 2, 1985 in Saukville, WI. He was known as a jack of all trades and enjoyed sharing his knowledge of fixing things with others. His time was spent cheering for the Packers and caring for his grandkids.

He is survived by his wife, Willie; children, Robert Sargent, Amy Grewe, Erick Kroner, Jennifer (Bill) McLarty, and Angel Sargent; 19 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and 2 great grandchildren on the way; siblings, Linda (John) Serrano, Elaine (Jerry) Bauer, Jerry Sargent, Bill Sargent, Ken (Karen) Sargent, Bob Sargent, and Dan Sargent; and brother in law, Victor Bennett.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Philip; and sisters, Barb Bennett and Joyce (Bill) Schone; and sister in law, Patsy Sargent.
