Elaine Joy Lossing, 62, of Owatonna and formerly of Mankato, died November 14, 2022, at the New Ulm Medical Center.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 P.M. on the 3rd of December, 2022 at the Hope Interfaith Center, 114 Pohl Rd, in Mankato.
Elaine was born January 28, 1960, to Wallace and Lulabelle (Weisert) Lossing in Minneapolis. She graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis in 1977.
Elaine worked as a jeweler, bank teller, and ran a bed and breakfast for several years in Jacksonville, Oregon. She furthered her education and graduated from Rogue Valley Community College in Grants Pass, Oregon.
On November 28, 2014, Elaine married the love of her life, Merry Beth Lossing in Mankato. In her free time, she enjoyed, coin machine trinkets, animals, crocheting, beadwork, learning every craft, and watching the Food Network with Merry Beth.
Elaine is survived by her son, Zach (Mikayla) Johnson; niece, Genevieve (Dan) Anderson; son, Brad Johnson; mother, Lulabelle (Curt) Peterson; siblings, Gary (Colleen) Lossing, Kenny (Margaret) Lossing, Kristina (Dan) Schultz, and Jon Lossing; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Elaine was preceded in death by the love of her life, wife, Merry Beth Lossing and father, Wallace Lossing.
