Ervin J. Albrecht

Ervin J. Albrecht, age 89 of Mankato, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024.

Ervin John was born June 15, 1935 in Oshawa Township, Nicollet County to Arthur and Adela Albrecht. He attended school in Nicollet, graduating in 1955. Ervin was united in marriage to Phyllis Annis on June 30, 1955. Together they had three children before her passing in 1968. Ervin was employed for many years at MICO. He was a member and past president of the Mankato Eagles Club, and enjoyed farming, mowing lawn, participating in the North Mankato horseshoe tournament, and showing engines at Pioneer Power. 

Left to remember Ervin are his children: Randy (Teresa) Albrecht, Penny (David) Engelen, and Sandie (Tom) Engelen; grandchildren: Jessica Wandersee, Cory Wandersee, Finley Albrecht, Becca Engelen, Jeremy (Jessica) Engelen, and Thomas (Andrea) Engelen; great grandchildren: Corey, Brycelyn, Abby, Mason, Allie, Brynn, James, and Justin; brother Warren Albrecht; and other relatives and friends. 

 He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis, and several siblings.
