Eunice Elaine (Malzahn) Bunde, age 91, of Good Thunder, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at her home.

Live streaming funeral service from Hosanna Lutheran Church can be viewed online at live.hosanna.church, 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, 2020. Pastor Mike Omtvedt will be the Officiant.  Private family burial will be at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Good Thunder. The family prefers memorials be given to St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Good Thunder or donor’s choice. Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family.

Eunice was born February 28, 1929 to Otto A. and Elna (Scheider) Malzahn on the farm east of Good Thunder. She was baptized at St. John Lutheran Church on March 17, 1929 and confirmed March 29, 1942. Eunice married Raymond Bunde on June 16, 1946. They bought the farm in 1964. She was the 4th generation on the land and farmed all her life. Her husband, Ray, died on October 13, 1972.

Eunice especially enjoyed “the kids,” the farm, fishing, singing, baking, gardening, tending to her flowers, and wintering in Harlingen, TX. She bought her first winter home on February 7, 1979, a new home on January 25, 1989, and on March 24, 1993, moved into her own lot in Sunwest Park.

She is survived by her nieces and nephew, Karl (Debbie) Tischer, Peggy (John) Wells, Gail (Larry) Bergemann, and Karen (Mike) Doyen; great-nieces and great-nephews, Adam (Carly) Tischer, Lori (Jake) Cole, Jennifer (Darol) Fiala, Janelle Connolly, Ryan (Kelsey) Bergemann,  Rachel Hruby, Tyler Doyen and Dylan Doyen.  She is also survived by great-great nieces and great-great nephews, Hannah and Molly Fiala, Noah, Evan and Ava Connolly, Avery, Ella and Reegan Bergemann, Danica Hruby, Gavin and Owen Cole, and Harlan Tischer; also special friends, Harlan and Bonnie Huebsch, Steve and Beverly Annis, and Arden Vollbrecht.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond; sister, Eileen Tischer; and brother-in-law, Harrison Tischer.
