Evelyn Diantha Adams, 76, of Mankato, passed away February 28, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Mankato.

Funeral service will be held 11:00a.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at Belgrade Avenue United Methodist Church in North Mankato with visitation one hour prior to the service. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family.

Evelyn was born December 9, 1942 to Max and Belva (Harris) Lewis in Monmouth, Illinois. She married Duane Anderson in 1966. Duane passed away in 1977. Evelyn married Don Adams in 1979. Together they raised their son, Ken. Evelyn worked many years at Mankato House, at Roosevelt Elementary and in retail. In her free time, Evelyn enjoyed baking and serving her community through Modern Woodman and her church. She will be remembered for being full of life, caring and loving. She will be greatly missed.

Evelyn is survived by her husband, Don; son, Ken of Mankato; step-children, Gary (Mary) Adams, Carol (Hal) Smith, and Jim (Jennie) Adams and their families; siblings, Eleanor Ford, Janet (John) Foster, and Lavina (Ken) Smock; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Duane Anderson; and siblings, Grace, Alice, Clifford, and Marvin.
