Celebration of Faith’s Life will be held from 4-7pm, Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Kato Ballroom, 200 Chestnut Street, Mankato. A time of sharing will begin at 7pm and will close at 8pm. Please wear bright colors (no black). Private (family only) Funeral Mass will begin at 11am, Friday, October 28, 2022, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in North Mankato with livestreaming available for the public at www.mankatomortuary.com.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations are made to help with expenses and time for the family to grieve.
Faith was born December 3, 2002, in Rochester to Terry and Roxanne (Renne) Larsen. She was born with a few cardiac defects and had gone through multiple invasive surgeries in her first years with us. As her condition became more stable, her checkups and trips to Rochester slowed down, but Faith did not. She graduated from Mankato West High School in 2021 and studied Business Management at South Central College. In high school she participated in lacrosse and basketball, and in her early years, she played soccer and softball.
Faith enjoyed being active, hanging out with friends, fishing, mudding, going to country concerts, making TikToks, taking selfies, traveling (especially to Florida), and chasing boys. Faith made sure to live her life to the fullest and never took life too seriously. She lived more in 19 years than most of do in a lifetime. She was brave and bold with a little bit of sass. She was the most kindhearted, lovable, pure, and sweetest soul we all knew. She touched so many lives with her bubbly personality and genuine care for others.
She will be forever remembered by her parents, Terry and Roxanne of North Mankato; siblings, Samantha Larsen of St. Paul, Jennifer Larsen of Minnetonka, and Brian Larsen of North Mankato; paternal grandfather, Earl Dean Larsen of Blue Earth; her dogs Stormy and Skyler; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Faith was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Bonnie Larsen; and maternal grandparents, Alan and Frances Renne.
The family wishes to thank Tyrel Maier for the quick response in performing CPR, the medical professionals involved in Faith’s care, family and friends who have supported us emotionally and physically in these trying times, those who have donated to the GoFundMe account, and continued support from the community.
