Faye Arlene Strong

Faye Arlene Strong (Ramey) of Mankato passed away on April 10 at her home surrounded by her family.

 

Faye was born on September 18, 1939, in Redwood Falls, MN, and will always be remembered fondly. Faye was a dedicated nurse at the Mankato Clinic who enjoyed using her free time to travel, read, quilt, and pursue her passion for crafts.

 

Faye is survived by her son Tim Erickson (wife Joan); her son Todd Erickson (wife Mary); her daughter Paula Pater (husband Lyle); her stepdaughter Deb Franklin; her siblings Bonnie Stang; Mary Mertens; and Paul Ramey (wife Jeanette), and her loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Faye was preceded in death by her second husband Donald Strong; her first husband Gordon Erickson; and her parents Russel and Pauline Ramey.

 

A Celebration of Life honoring the memory of Faye will be held on June 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Mankato.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.  A reception will be held following the service at the church and interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the American Cancer Association in Faye's memory.
