Fayette Merle Juliar, age 69, of Good Thunder, died on January 3, 2021 at her home.
Fayette was born on May 30, 1951 in Minot, N.D. to Merle and Vivian (Maercklein) Juliar. She graduated from Minot High School in 1969. On May 30, 1985, Fayette was united in marriage to Robert Kuhns in Mankato. Faye worked at the Mapleton Community Home and the Peddler in Rapidan. Faye enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. She was an excellent cook and baker. Faye loved animals, especially her horses.
Faye is survived by her husband, Bob Kuhns; sons, Shane (Rachael) Pepper and Todd Hardy; grandchildren, Roderic, Randon, and Saelyn Pepper; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, David (Atsuko) Kuhns, William Kuhns, Mary Cornish, Dale Kuhns, Tim Kuhns, and Dorothy Kuhns; niece and barn buddy, Kami Waalkens; many other nieces and nephews; and dog, Sassy. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother; grandparents, Lawrence (Lydia) Juliar and William (Fayette) Maercklein; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dave (Mary) Kuhns; uncles, Francis Page and Albert Jongbloedt; as well as other aunts and uncles.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date at Rosehill Memorial Cemetery in Minot, N.D. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with arrangements.
