Fredric "Fred" W. Otto

Fredric "Fred" W. Otto, born on February 4, 1949, passed away on April 29, 2024, peacefully at his home.

He was married to his to lovely wife, Susan for 45 years and they had 3 daughters together. Katherine Otto of North Mankato, Vanessa Otto of North Mankato and Cassandra (Mike) Kurth of Orono, MN. He also had 3 grandchildren, Maxwell, Charles and Sophia Kurth.

Fred was a man of many hobbies and interests. Fred enjoyed reading and cooking as well as going to the shooting range and attending hunting trips with his friends. He found a lot of joy and laughter at the bustling bridge tables among friends as well as competing against them during the fantasy football season.

He and Susan shared many cherished memories enjoying various concerts throughout the years.

Professionally, Fredric dedicated his talents to the Mankato Free Press, where he served as a District Manager. He also kept very busy with driving newspaper delivery as well as courier services.

As we mourn the loss of Fred, we are comforted in his soul being at peace and no longer in pain. In honor of Fred, listen to your favorite music, read a book or find a way to make a memory with someone you love.
