Fredrick "Fred" V. Berentson

Fredrick V. Berentson, age 45 of Eagle Lake, passed away unexpectedly on July 23, 2019 at his home.

A Celebration of Fred’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 30, 2019, at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Drive, North Mankato. Visitation will be two hours before service Tuesday at Northview.

Fredrick was born May 16, 1974 to Thomas Richard and Donna Marie (Weingartz) Berentson in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato West High School in 1992. Fred was employed with MICO for over 24 years. He enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings, Twins, Wild, NASCAR, wrestling, and loved to go to the casino.

Fred is survived by his mother, Donna Berentson of North Mankato; sister, Julie (Jason) Debing of Eagan; grandmother, Maryalice Weingartz of North Mankato; close cousins, Johnny and Jessie Young; several aunts and uncles and many cousins.

Fred was preceded in death by his father; uncle, Dale Kerns; aunt, Cathy Berentson; grandparents, Donald Weingartz, Vern and Nicoloza Berentson.
