Gary William Mueller

Gary William Mueller, 73, passed away at home from complications from COPD on 12/13/24.

Born January 2, 1951, in New Ulm, MN to Herbert Joseph and Lucille Alice (Brinkman) Mueller. Gary leaves behind his son, Justin (Julie) Mueller of Waseca, MN and daughter, Sarah Mueller of Gaylord, MN. Gary had 5 siblings, Roger (Mary) Mueller of Mankato, MN, Gene (Carolyn) Mueller of Sioux Falls, SD, Susan (Dennis) Foster of Fargo, ND, and Peggy Mueller of NYA, MN. Gary had 11 nieces/nephews and many great nieces/nephews.

He graduated from Mankato High School in 1969. He started his career working at National Poly in Mankato, then drove semi-truck for various local employers for almost 50 years. He was part of the crew that helped build the New Denver International Airport. He had many hobbies of collecting and working on models especially trains, watching Nascar or anything racing. He was a man that could repair anything! He was always known to help and be there for his children! He loved his trips to Dairy Queen. Gary was always willing to help out anybody. Gary always enjoyed an ice-cold Pepsi, always had a story to tell, and was there for his family. Preceded in death by his grandchildren,Trevor (2014), Rachel (2015), and Caitlyn (2016) Mueller; his sister, Joann Yokiel (2000); and his parents, Herbert (1969) and Lucille (2011).

Visitation will be held from 12pm-3pm, Friday, December 20, 2024 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Mankato. Please share a memory with his family online at www.mankatomortuary.com
