Gary John Schnobrich

Gary John Schnobrich, age 75, of Mankato, died Friday, September 10, 2021 at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

Gary was born December 10, 1945 in Springfield, MN to Joseph and Eva (Schumacher) Schnobrich. He graduated from Loyola High School. He served in the Marines during the Vietnam War from 1966 until being honorably discharged in 1972. Gary worked various jobs throughout his life, including Ramy Seed, Northstar, and Perfect Seal. Gary enjoyed watching the Moondogs and having coffee with friends.

He is survived by his siblings, Bernie (Lee) Schnobrich of St. Peter, Virginia (Bill) Busch of Mankato, Janice (Richard) Berger of St. Peter; and many nieces and nephews.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Eva; brothers, Victor and LeRoy Schnobrich; half sisters, Irene Melvin, Ella Lang, and Evelyn Lamm, and Deloris Downs.

Memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Northview ~ North Mankato Mortuary with visitation one hour prior. Military honors will follow, and burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery. Livestreaming will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com.
