Geoffrey "Geoff" Paul Salfer

Geoffrey “Geoff” Paul Salfer, 69, of Mankato, passed away Saturday, April 23, 2022, at his home.

Visitation will be held from 3-5pm, Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Mankato Mortuary, 1001 N. Riverfront Drive, Mankato. Memorial service will be11am, Monday, May 2, 2022, at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior. Graveside service will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Mankato. Livestreaming will be available at www.mankatomortuary.com.

Geoff was born February 2, 1953, in Mankato to Raymond J. and Josephine H. (Goettlicher) Salfer. He attended school at Washington and Franklin Schools. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Geoff loved watching sports, especially the Minnesota Vikings. He also enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends.

Geoff is survived by his brothers, Wayne Salfer of Mankato and Dean (Jill) Salfer of Mankato; and nieces, Brenda Lundberg of Mankato, Laurie (Kyle Conrady) Mitchell of Prior Lake, Sue (Dean) Krienke of Waterville, and Monica Salfer of Mankato.

He preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leon (and his wife, Linda) Salfer; and sister-in-law, Alice Salfer
