Glenette Johnson

Glenette A. Johnson, 99, of North Mankato, died June 15, 2022 at Benedictine Living Community in St. Peter.

A visitation will be held from 10-12 p.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary, 2060 Commerce Dr, North Mankato. Private burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery at a later date.

Glenette was born January 17, 1923 to Gustav and Alma (Denzel) Johnson in Mankato. Following high school, she served in the US Air Force, WAAC, from 1943-1945 during WWII. She worked for Continental Can Company for 44 years retiring in 1987. She was a union member of IAM #924 for 50 years and the American Legion Post 11. In her free time, Glenette enjoyed traveling and watching the Minnesota Vikings and Gopher football teams. Her passion was being home on the family farm with her German Shepherds.   

Glenette was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters.
