Glenn H. Miller

Glenn H. Miller, age 82 of Mankato, passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Mayo-St. Mary's, Rochester.

A public celebration of life will be held 4:00-7:00pm Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary. Private family services will be held at a later time. Glenn was born May 10, 1942 in St. Peter to David C. and Laura J. (Kiewatt) Miller. He attended school in Mankato, graduating from Mankato West in 1960. He then went on to receive a certificate in electronics repair from VoTech in Mankato. Glenn was united in marriage to Mary Stenzel in 1963. He was employed as support staff at KEYC before spending most of his career with School District 77 in Mankato. In his retirement he transported cars for Clements Auto. Glenn enjoyed classic cars, Country music, and watching weather and government news on TV. Most importantly, he loved spending time with family at gatherings. Glenn had a strong love of his Country, Patriotism, and the American Eagle. He was especially proud of driving in the caravan for former President Carter to FarmFest.

Cherishing the memories of Glenn are his wife, Mary; children: Gregory (Peggy) Miller, Marie (Jerry) Pomije, Denise (Bruce) Lieske, and Angela (Alan) McLean; nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters: Sandra (Dick) Telander, and Barbara (Roger) Veldhuisen; beloved dog, Casper; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
