Gorden D. Koopmann

Gorden D. Koopmann age 74 of Kasota, died Saturday July 11, 2020 peacefully with his wife Carol by his side.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 6, 2023 at Northview – North Mankato Mortuary. Visitation will be one hour before the service on Friday. Burial at Lake Crystal Cemetery,

Gorden was born September 19, 1945 to Rudolph and Viola (Doerr) Koopmann in Sparta, Wisconsin. After graduation from High School he served his country in the US Army and was stationed in Germany. He attended Mankato Vo-Tech and worked as a tool and die maker in the area. Gorden was united in marriage to Carol Rollings on September 13, 1992 in Madelia.

 Gorden is survived by his wife, Carol (Rollings) Koopmann of Kasota; siblings, Kenneth (Lynn) Koopmann, Darlene (Joe) Mocol, Donald Koopmann, Larry Koopmann, Sharon Koopmann; inlaws, Janet (Bruce) Smutka, Rev. Deral (Jean) Rollings; nieces, nephews and his beloved cats.

 Preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Viola; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Eugene and Inez Rollings.
