Graham Donald Waibel, age 33, of La Crosse, Wisconsin died Monday October 4, 2021, at his home.
Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Belgrade UMC in North Mankato. Burial at Eagle Lake Cemetery. Visitation from 4 – 7 p.m., Friday at Mankato Mortuary and continues one hour before the service at the church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
Graham Waibel was born June 5, 1988, to Donald and Judith (Walkes) Waibel in Mankato. He graduated from St. Clair High School in 2006 and later graduated from South Central College for HVAC service. Graham started his career with Schwickert’s and for the last five years he worked in the La Crosse area. He was an Eagle Scout and received his Black Belt in karate at the age of eight. Graham enjoyed watching the Minnesota Wild, the Rolling Stones, Willie Nelson, Green Bay Packers, playing guitar, writing music and spending quality time with his dog, Gretzky.
Graham is survived by his parents, Judy and Rich Walania of Eagle Lake; brother, Rich “Gus” Walania of Paola, KS; nieces and nephews, Nate, Allison, Grace, Drew, and Sam; aunts and uncles, Teresa (Bob) Batzel, La Donna (Gary) Olson, Dave (Barb) Walkes, Jim (Becky) Walkes, Robert (Connie) Walkes, Roger (Judy) Walkes, Deb Nachreiner, Tom Nachreiner, Ron (Lora) Waibel, Karen Waibel, Barb (John Myers) Walania, Jo Ann Hall, John (Tammy) Walania, and Randy Kleist.
Preceded in death by his father, Donnie; brother, Jeff Walania; uncle, Greg Waibel, aunt, Wanda Kleist, nephew, Andrew Walania; grandparents, Ray and Frances Walkes, Donald and Helen Waibel
