Gregory Michael McCarthy

Gregory Michael McCarthy, age 49, of Madison Lake, died on December 3, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Rochester.

Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Church of the Immaculate Conception of Marysburg.  Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00-11:00 a.m. prior to the service at church.  Burial will be in Marysburg Catholic Cemetery.  Northview-North Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

Greg was born on September 29, 1974 in Mankato to Michael and Geralyn (Dauk) McCarthy.  He graduated from Cleveland High School in 1993.  On August 5, 2000, Greg was united in marriage to Bridgett Busch.  Greg farmed for many years with his father and then recently obtained his real estate license in 2021.  Greg enjoyed camping, scuba diving, and watching movies. 

Greg is survived by his wife, Bridgett; daughters, Mariah and Kyra; father, Mike (Nancy); sister, Diane McCarthy (Chris Barnett); great-aunt, Joanne Stangler; and cousin, Margaret Duffey.  He was preceded in death by his mother and grandmother, Grace McCarthy.
