Howard Paul Sweiger, Jr.

Howard Paul Sweiger, Jr. age 65, of North Mankato, died on Friday, October 11, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Northview-North Mankato Mortuary with a visitation one hour prior to the service.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. 

Howard was born on October 27, 1953 in Patuxent River, MD to Howard Paul Sr. and Marjorie Mae (McGuire) Sweiger.  He served in the United States Army.  Howie was united in marriage to Nancy Jenke on February 23, 1980.  They were later divorced.  Howie loved to play the guitar and ride his motorcycle.

Howie is survived by his son, Jameson (Sarah) Sweiger of Mankato; granddaughter, Hazel Sweiger of Mankato; mother, Marjorie Sweiger of Mankato; sisters, Barb (Jul) Sweiger of Mankato and Rose (Steve) Rustman of St. Peter; god son, David McGuire and favorite uncle, Bernie McGuire both of St. Peter; and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his father and brother, Robert James Sweiger.
